This equipment temporarily stores panels in the event of a line stoppage. When a stoppage occurs, the Techno System Buffer carefully accumulates and stores the panels to avoid damage. The panels are stored on multiple levels, one above the other, using an advanced lifting mechanism that places them into their designated slots with precision.
Once the system receives a signal indicating that the line is resuming operation, the buffer begins releasing the panels in the same order they were received, following the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle.
The Techno System Buffer-FIFO also offers the possibility of controlled holding times within the buffer. This feature allows panels to remain stored for a certain period to reduce their temperature or to ensure the photographic film properly cures before proceeding to the next process.
These buffers are commonly used in specific production steps:
โข After dry film lamination: Panels are stored to allow time for cooling.
โข After direct imaging: Panels remain stored to allow the dry film to fully cure after full exposure before entering the DES (Developing, Etching, Stripping) line.
โข In handling heavy panels: The buffer is ideal for use in lines requiring extra care when managing heavy or delicate panels. The techno System Buffer can also be used as a Loader or unloader at the beginning or end of the lines.
Equipped with a high-speed lifting mechanism, the Techno System FIFO Buffer can handle up to 4 panels per minute. Depending on customer needs, it can store 20, 30, or 40 panels. It can also be equipped with entry and exit conveyors.
